During the decades after Morse's "What hath God wrought!" a plethora of different codes, signalling techniques, and sending and receiving machines were patented. A web of wires was spun across every modern city on the globe, and longer wires were strung between cities. Some of the early technologies were, in retrospect, flaky: one early inventor wanted to use 26-wire cables, one wire for each letter of the alphabet. But it quickly became evident that it was best to keep the number of individual wires as low as possible and find clever ways to fit more information onto them. This requires more ingenuity than you might think - wires have never been perfectly transparent carriers of data; they have always degraded the information put into them. In general, this gets worse as the wire gets longer, and so as the early telegraph networks spanned greater distances, the people building them had to edge away from the seat-of-the-pants engineering practices that, applied in another field, gave us so many boiler explosions, and toward the more scientific approach that is the standard of practice today.
Hip-Hop Rumors: Angel Lola Luv’s Implants EXPOSED! Jim Jones Vs. Max ...
Its sort of expected, and a primary reason why the music business has collapsed. The sports world relies on a mix of business people, coaches, ex players and players to further an organized growing path in what it does. Its why it does well and we remain fans. I'm embarrassed at how musicians and artists in other genres of music make us appear to be greed infested, structure-less idiots when it comes down to the organization of black music and culture." To punctuate his point, Chuck D told AllHipHop.com, “It is quite clear that these folk could care less. The same thing that happened to Motown, is Def Jam's fate. In my opinion the fact that 10-15 individuals in the guise of hovering buzzards are given keys to the culture based on their alliances with these corporations, is a partial reasons for the troubled condition its in.

Costa bravo! Spain is still a hot property
The weak dollar has made the US a tempting proposition, and every week seems to bring news of another overseas property hotspot. However, that old favourite, Spain, remains the most popular European destination for Brits moving abroad. According to a survey of the top 20 buying destinations by A Place in the Sun magazine earlier this month, the country has taken the number one spot for the second year running. It says its mix of great weather, rich culture and beautiful coastline are a hard combination to beat. Getting a visa There are no restrictions on living and working for EU nationals. But you do need to get an NIE number - a tax number for foreigners in Spain - if you are going to buy a house or a car, open a bank account or work for a Spanish company.
Give your attic a breath of air
Winter weather can find every weak link in a house to create drafts and raise utility bills. So how dumb is it to purposely let cold air into an attic or crawl space? Not dumb at all -- in fact, it's essential, and a component of each of the four building code systems in the country. Ventilation makes obvious sense in summer when temperatures soar in attics, and sunstruck shingles become so gooey you can't walk on them. Thorough ventilation is the answer. It keeps temperatures in check, reduces air conditioning cost, and also extends the life of asphalt shingles. It may seem counter-intuitive, but venting attics is just as important in winter. Seal up roof vents the way you seal up windows, and moisture created in the house will be trapped and condense in the attic.
